boheme

I have been cast as Mimi in PSU's spring production of Puccini's La Boheme. I'm thrilled to be learning this role, which is gorgeous, and thrilled to work with the fabulous Tito Capobianco once again. I'll post the dates soon; you can also find them on PSU's website. Since my role is doublecast, I'll only be doing two or three of the shows.

In other news, I'm mostly finished applying to grad school in New York and will hopefully be invited to audition sometime during winter term. I've also begun some work on my senior recital. The program includes some Bellini songs, Berg's Sieben Frühe Lieder, and Barber's "Knoxville: Summer of 1915". I hope to present it sometime in the spring.
